
As shown in the figure above, setting up a CBI account involves these steps:
1. Choose your screening requirements.
2. Determine pricing for your desired services.
3. Contact CBI with information about your desired services.
4. CBI opens an account for you and sets up your access to our online Client WorkBench.
5. CBI emails you logon instructions for your account, including instructions for using CBI's website. Also included will be an email template that you can forward to your applicants that walks them through the online process.
6. Participate in an introductory web meeting with CBI (approx. 10 minutes) to learn about CBI's online processes from your account manager. You will learn what information is needed for CBI forms, how to make screenings compliant, and how to send applications to CBI's WorkBench for screening and tracking.
As shown in the figure above, screening applicants with CBI involves these steps:
1. Client job applicants complete client-specific application forms online from the CBI web site.
2. The Client HR Manager reviews all completed and submitted job application forms, using their own password-protected CBI Client WorkBench account.
3. From your online account, the Client Manager approves relevant applicants, which effectively sends these forms online to CBI where the screening commences. Otherwise, the Client Manager leaves the applicant on the WorkBench.
4. CBI screens all applicants that you forward to the CBI WorkBench.

Client Managers can track all screenings as they move through the vetting process from their online account in real time--resulting in complete visibility on any delays or issues that may arise.
5. CBI enters results of screenings to your Client WorkBench, and completed reports are returned electronically to the Client's email account.
6. The Client Manager can assess the applicant using screening results and completed reports.
